Lesotho PostBank (LPB) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following vacant position:
Job Title : RCPAN Sales Promoters (10)
Reports to : RCPAN Project Manager
Location : Leribe, Berea and Maseru
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Rural Communities Payments Agency Network (RCPAN) component of LPB’s Digitalization project in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, the Bank seeks to engage RCPAN sales promoters for the duration of six months. The purpose of this position is to engage with communities in Leribe, Berea and rural parts of Maseru in an initiative to promote financial inclusion and financial literacy by means of road shows, promotions, community forums and workshops. The financial inclusion will be done through LPB’s Mobile Wallet – Khetsi, the community agents as distributors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Timely participate in promotional campaigns as planned and detailed in project schedule;
• Register Khetsi users and ensure constant activities on the digital platform to ensure inclusion;
• Train and support all acquired communities/groups, agents, and wallet subscribers;
• Identify agents in the village and recommend sign off to the project team;
• Engage with communities and agents to ensure financial inclusion through digital channels;
• Comply with RCPAN project policies and procedures;
• Organize and conduct presentations within the assigned locations;
• Build rewarding relationships with village councilors and area chiefs;
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of Diploma in Business Management/Marketing/or Any Business-related field.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of mobile money systems;
• Willingness to travel and do field work;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays;
• Ability to pay attention to details;
