TENDER NOTICE LEC/PO-977/2020/21
The Lesotho Electricity Company (Pty) Ltd (LEC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders (Lesotho Registered Civil Contractors, registered in Category B with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport) for the provision of necessary Goods and Works, design, labour, materials, equipment, installation, commissioning, testing, and other technical services necessary for the successful completion of “QUTHING SITE FENCING AND REHABILITATION OF ACCESS ROAD”.
The works involve the following;
• Manufacture devil fork fence, deliver to site and complete installations
• Excavate and provide concrete to prepare for erection of fence
• Excavate and provide materials to complete access road using heavy duty paving
• Comprehensive contracts management
Tendering companies must have the following documents:
• Company Registration Certificate
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificates
• Traders License
• Works Registration Certificates

Bids must be delivered to the tender box located at LEC Management Block reception on or before 12:00hrs on 30th July, 2020.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 12:00hrs on the 30th July, 2020 at LEC offices.
Site Visit: The bidder is advised that it is his responsibility to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain for himself, all information that may be necessary for preparing the tender and entering into a contract. The costs of visiting the site and obtaining the necessary information shall be borne by the bidders. There will be a site visit for tenderers who wish to inspect site conditions on Tuesday 14th July, 2020 and the bidders shall assemble at the LEC Office in Quthing at 11:00hrs.
Clarifications shall be communicated in writing seven (07) calendar days before the tender closing date
