HS Construction Company (Pty) Ltd is a multi-disciplinary construction company incorporated in Lesotho in 2010. The company offers construction and project management services in the areas of Building, Roads, water supply, sanitation, infrastructure, construction management and other civil engineering related disciplines.
Therefore, we are looking for suitable candidates to be part of our Team:
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Responsibilities
- Prepare initial cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Advise clients on the most economical way to achieve their project goals.
- Create detailed project budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare tender documents and help evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors.
- Draft and manage project contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage project expenditure to ensure it stays within budget.
- Assess and value work done on site.
- Prepare and issue progress reports and payment certificates accordingly.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Advise on cost control, cash flow projections, and procurement strategies.
- Ensure that all cost reports and financial documents are accurate and submitted on time.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Negotiate final accounts and close out project contracts.
Requirements
- Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or any relevant qualification.
- Proven Construction and Consultancy experience (5+ years).
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications, Claims evaluations and Preparation of FIDIC Contracts.
