Quality Inspector x2 at SUN JV

SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.) is the Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.

SUN JV is constructing a concrete-faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1 km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu Rivers, and a Saddle Dam.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Quality Inspector (2 Positions)

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material inspections, concrete quality control, earthworks, and structural works.
• Experience in conducting inspections, witnessing tests, identifying and reporting non-conformances (NCRs), maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Previous experience on civil engineering projects within the last five (5) years will be an added advantage.
