Key responsibilities:
- Identify and consolidate relevant communication and awareness requirements through analysis of data emanating from the feedback mechanisms and incorporate them into relevant programmes;
- Facilitate the capacity building of employees on operational procedures, standards and quality management principles;
- Develop and maintain standard operational procedures to ensure uniform and consistent standards are implemented across the organisation;
- Conduct and facilitate quality promotions and awareness activities and campaigns through various communication platforms;
- Provide administrative support of the quality management system, including but not limited to document control and record keeping;
- Review current procedures to improve upon the existing quality standards;
- Facilitate benchmarking of various business and operational processes and ensure processes are aligned for correct comparisons;
- Generate monthly quality management reports;
- Investigate and resolve quality related non-conformities;
- Coordinate and monitor activities aimed at ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system and the continued practicing of quality best practice principles;
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on the implementation and improvement of business management system tools to ensure continued effectiveness, efficiency and that the system is capable of supporting compliance requirements to all applicable quality standards including but not limited to ISO 9001, 17025, GLP and any other related regulatory frameworks;
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Quality Management with at least three years’ experience at quality management level;
- Certificate in Quality Management System (ISO 9001: 2015) implementation;
- Experience in the implementation and evaluation of integrated SHEQ management systems;
- Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and/or integrated SHEQ system, implementation and auditing;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Ability to handle large data sets and good report writing skills;
- Customer centric approach to problem solving;
- Ability to correctly analyse trends and data and develop appropriate interventions;
- Advanced computer literacy;
- Systems thinking and analytical skills.
