Job description:
Our Client is looking for 2 QC inspectors, who will be responsible for controlling the quality of the incoming goods, Crabtree products and imported products to Crabtree drawings and specifications by using the inspecting and testing procedures.
Key Performance Areas: (but not limited to)
- Inspect goods/products from the production line.
- Measure, record dimension, colours and MFI of raw materials and products and perform tests with instruments.
- Inform production and quality supervisor and setters of non-conforming products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Good Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
- Computer literacy preferably Microsoft Excel
- Must understand how to establish route cause with the 5 Why’s
- Must understand fish bone diagrams and correspond with international standards
- Must have technical knowledge to be able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Must have 3 – 5 years’ experience in Quality Control
