JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer-Accreditationis responsible for all accreditation processes for academic programmes and the general internal quality assurance activities at LP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The key duties of the post are as follows :-
- Participate in Accreditation Applications, Document Reviewsand works in collaboration with Heads of Departments on programme accreditation processes and continuous improvement.
- Coordinates quality assurance activities such as development of programme reviews, self-evaluation reports, improvement plans and progress reports.
- Contributes to quality development activities through identifying good practices and development needs arising from reviews.
- Monitors the implementation of the improvement plans within the schools to enhance the students learning experience.
- Facilitates training for academic staff on programme accreditation processes.
- Reviews guidelines and procedures for formal and informal training in quality assurance for the academic staff.
- Promotes awareness of quality assurance activities amongst students and support staff.
- Profiles good practices and identifies areas for improvement in LP`s quality assurance procedures and systems.
- Participates in all Quality Assurance activities within the Department
NB*Because of the changing nature of our business the job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

- Proficiency in digital tools; including Microsoft office suite( word, excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Education (with English Language as a major) or equivalent.
- Experience in quality assurance/teaching or lecturing at tertiary level/a qualification in quality assurance will be an added advantage.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant environment.
