Sesiu Investments (PTY) Ltd (WeGrow), is seeking a driven, high-energy Quality Assurance Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. This role is ideal for a critical thinker with a strong analytical mindset, who is passionate about ensuring production quality, compliance, and innovation in a rural, hands-on agricultural environment. Expect to work long hours and be fully immersed in operations to help us meet and exceed international standards.

Quality Management System (QMS):
โข Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
โข Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GACP, ISO 9001, GMP etc.).
โข Continuously improve the QMS based on feedback and audit results.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
โข Lead and mentor QA team members; provide training, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
โข Allocate tasks and oversee day-to-day operations of the QA department.
โข Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Audits & Inspections:
โข Prepare for and manage internal and external quality audits (e.g., regulatory, customer audits).
โข Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor audit findings through resolution.
Quality Control & Testing:
โข Coordinate quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and data analysis.
โข Establish and track quality KPIs such as defect rates, customer complaints, and compliance metrics.
โข Approve products for release after thorough inspection and testing.
Documentation & Reporting:
โข Maintain detailed documentation of quality procedures, reports, and test results.
โข Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
โข Ensure product traceability and document control.
Supplier & Customer Quality:
โข Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials or components meet quality standards.
โข Address customer complaints, lead investigations, and implement quality improvements.
โข Ensure alignment between customer expectations and organizational quality outputs.
Regulatory & Compliance:
โข Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
โข Ensure company-wide compliance with applicable standards and certifications.
โข Manage risk assessments and quality compliance initiatives.

โข Relevant Degree or Diploma in Quality Assurance, Science, Agriculture, or related field.
โข Proven experience in QA management (minimum one years preferred).
โข Fluent in written and spoken English.
โข Strong managerial and leadership skills.
โข Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving ability.
โข Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
โข Able to function effectively in a rural, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
โข Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
โข Ability to innovate and continuously improve systems and practices.
