Job Description

Do you enjoy flexibility and the ability to work from home? Achieve provides online exam prep courses to increase students’ likelihood of earning college credits via credit-by-exam. We are a fully virtual organization with all team members working 100% remotely.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who is eager to develop processes and procedures to ensure our internal systems and web app platforms are scoped and delivered for optimal performance. This includes both manual and automated testing, as well as coordination with Development and Product teams to expand testing as a core component of our software delivery process.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead automated test script development efforts, maintaining and improving existing automated test cases
  • Review and improve existing QA processes, ensuring that the team efforts are coordinated and reliable
  • Work with Product and Development teams to improve the planning, speed and stability of our software delivery process
  • Work with Development teams to refine and expand unit testing coverage, modifying other testing coverage to reflect changing needs of applications and systems
  • Expand test coverage to include more negative testing at all levels
  • Establish metrics, apply industry best practices, and develop new tools and processes to improve speed and stability

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
  • College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Development or QA experience utilizing Agile delivery methods
  • Experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Postman, K6, Mocha or other testing tools
  • Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch with detailed logging debugging and HTML reporting (with screenshots) capabilities
  • Strong understand of CI/CD and how to integrate automated tests within build pipelines
  • A willingness to work with and mentor a global team that coordinates on EST time zone
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and strong commitment to meet deadlines

Job Details

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: At least 4 hours of overlap within EST business hours, Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm EST

Remote: 100% Online
