Job Description
We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience for our SaaS platform.
Contractor/Full-time
Responsibilities
- Ensure all engineering tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking
- Identify bugs and issues and ticket them
- Define quality metrics (coordinate with the product on upcoming features)
- Contribute to the design, creation, and execution of test cases for web and mobile; performing automated Web testing
- Cross-browser and mobile testing
- Proficiency in developing test scripts
- Ability to describe how to replicate issues and document at a detailed level
- Automation testing related to browsers is a benefit
- Regression testing
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkin, etc.
Skills And Qualifications
- Experience with automation testing suites
- Strong Communication Skills
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Front end manual website testing experience
- Working knowledge HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
- Design and UX sensibilities
- A natural curiosity for new technology and creative expression
- Nice to haves – testing on mobile devices, and or a good understanding/knowledge of mobile OS and browsers
