INTRODUCTION

The Ministry of the Public Service invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Chairpersons and Members of the Public Service Tribunal. The Tribunal is a quasi-judicial entity under the Ministry of the Public Service established pursuant to Section 20 of the Public Service Act of 2005 to deal with appeals instigated by a public officer, registered public officers’ association or employer arising from grievances and disciplinary actions.

Incumbents shall be engaged on a five (5) year contract and would work on an ad hoc basis to sit on allocated cases.

To assist the Chairperson to see a wider picture, especially from the Administrative perspective so that a fair decision could be reached. Gives input on the final award

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIECE

A Bachelors Degree in Public Administration plus 5 years relevant experience.
