POSITION: Public Relations and Customer Experience Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Marketing and Customer Experience
REPORTING TO: Public Relations and Customer Experience Manager
PURPOSE:
To create and maintain the company’s positive public image and improve all interactions with Econet brand from all customer touch points.
Main Duties / Key Responsibilities
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and suggest innovative ideas for PR and CX campaigns
· Liaise with all departments to ensure that gaps in Customer Experience are plugged
· Assist with the development and distribution of PR materials, including newsletters and videos
· Ensure positive customer experience across all Econet customer touch points
· Writing, editing and proofreading articles, social media content, internal & external messages, press releases and other communications
· Ensure that PR and CX strategies are aligned with company goals and outcomes
· Assist with organizing and execution of various media and PR events including press conferences and public gatherings
· Collect, track and analyse customer feedback and suggest improvements towards CX metrics
· Recommend improvements on business processes need correction to ensure seamless customer experience
· Management of PR calendars and media lists
· Maintenance of PR database, documenting media coverage, and tracking PR metrics
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
· Respond to customer enquiries and perform other administrative tasks to support HigherLife Foundation Lesotho
· Assist with management of PR materials, filing, copying, and performing other clerical tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
· University Degree in any of the following: Public Relations, Communications, Business Management or similar field
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a writer with good working Knowledge of Public Relations Concepts and best practices
Special Skills :
· Good interpersonal skills
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent writing and editing skills in both Sesotho and English.
· Pay attention to details
· Empathetic
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Outstanding computer basic skills
· Digital media skills, such as graphic design, video editing and blog administration.
· Social media management experience.
· Must possess a valid Code B driver’s license.
