The Government of Lesotho has received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank to implement the Lesotho Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

One of the key Individual Consulting Services positions within the CAFI Project is that of the Public Private Dialogue Coordinator.

The Consulting Services (the Services) to be provided by the Public Private Dialogue Coordinator include, inter alia, as reflected in detailed Terms of Reference: (i) Plan the structure and content of the PPD series in close collaboration with the different relevant Ministries; (ii) Coordinate closely with donor partners to align efforts and maximize outcomes; (iii) Ensure an appropriate venue for in-person and online participation in the PPD; (iv) prepare event specific participant lists and manage the invitation and hosting of participants; (v) Operate as a master of ceremonies for the PPD events as needed; (vi) Prepare and execute a communications strategy for the PPD series including through social media, in coordination with the CAFI project communications team; (vii) Prepare summary of the main conclusion of each PPD event; (viii) Prepare all aspects of the investment forum in close collaboration with the same counterparts as the PPD Series; (ix) Identify and attract a roaster of foreign and domestic investors to participate in sector-specific investment forum events; (x) Ensure an appropriate venue for in-person and online participation in the Investment Forum. The Ministry of Trade, Industry, Business Development and Tourism through the CAFI PMU, now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-mentioned Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The selection criteria include: qualifications and experience as stipulated in the TOR

Interested consultants are required to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI), Curriculum Vitae (CV) together with educational certificates and to the address below.

The attention of interested consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

The Public Private Dialogue Coordinator will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the said Procurement Regulations.
