Expression of Interest for Provision of Photography & Videography Services
In line with Storm Mountain Diamonds’ intent to increase its local procurement, Photography and Videography have been identified
for local consideration. SMD invites interested Basotho owned companies to submit expression of interest for the provision of
Photography & Videography Services
This request for expression of interest follows the company’s general procurement practice for services. Below is a list of requirements
for provision of Photography and Videography Service:
Photography/video shots to include:
Candid photos of any events the mine will have
Staged and candid group shots throughout the Event;
Staged and candid photos of “important” attendees/delegates at mine events
Photos of the crowd and overall group in the Event;
Photos of the venue, décor and setup;
Photos of the various programs and activities
Event montage video for upload on social media and circulation
Videography of event
Drone shots
Drone videos
Any other required shots more details shall be shared as per the different events
There is no cap on images to be taken
Deliverables
Submit all raw image files and edited photos of each photograph.
All images shall be high resolution images
Full resolution digital images are to be uploaded to Dropbox/Google Drive or any other form of storage to preserve the quality of the
pictures and video
Edited video of Event montage to be provided with full usage
All images from the Event will be delivered no later than ten (10) days from the conclusion of the Event.
Should be able to take different occasions, outdoor, indoor, events, etc.
The photographer shall be the primary photographer and shall take shots and videos in full range and upfront
Photographer will be required to have their own photography and videography equipment. SMD does not provide any
photography/videography equipment required
Photographer will not commercially market their services during performance of the Services at our Events
SMD retains all rights to alter and use any final images and videos.
Selected vendor will not be allowed to add or embed photos and/or videos with branding captions or watermark signatures on images
provided to SMD.
The proposal shall include the following sections:
Executive Summary;
One-page summary of the Photographer’s background, past experience similar to the services expected, a basic understanding of the
Services required, and reasons why the Photographer should be selected.
Past Projects;
Include a summary describing three (3) relevant projects with sample of images and video (or link to samples of images and video).
Should the vendor have an online portfolio, please provide the proper link to review.
References;
Provide a minimum of three (3) references including the name of person(s) who may be contacted, title of the person, email address
and phone number.
Other Information;
Any additional information that the Photographer believes will be relevant to the profile/proposal and the Photographer’s capability
to provide the Services.
The expression of interest should include the following documents:
- Company Registration/ Certificate of Incorporation
- Valid Traders Licence
- Valid LRA Tax Clearance Certificate
- Company Profile

Interested companies should indicate their ability to provide the above and submit their expression of interest to

1st August 2023.
