TENDER NOTICE
MOBILE TOILET SERVICES
The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) awarded Contract LHDA 6015A: Construction of Resettlement Villages and Replacement Housing within the Polihali Site Establishment Area to Sixty15 Joint Venture (Sixty15 JV), a partnership of Motjetjepa Investments T/A Eagle Construction, Afro-Asia Engineering, and Geo Construction.
Sixty15 JV hereby invites Basotho-owned companies with relevant expertise and experience to submit tenders for the provision of mobile toilet services.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must submit the following:
- Valid Trader’s License
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Detailed Company Profile
- Proof of waste disposal certification
All required documents must be certified at source where applicable.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Health & Hygiene
- Toilets must be cleaned and serviced regularly.
- Toilets must be stocked with handwashing stations (soap, water or sanitizer).
- Safety Considerations
- Describe how workers will be kept safe during cleaning and transportation of waste.
- Waste must be delivered to the designated Sixty15 JV sewer plant.
- Environmental Compliance
- Provide a plan outlining how waste will be handled and transported to avoid spillages.
- Accessibility & Placement
- Outline the strategy for secure placement of toilets and safe accessibility for workers.
- Cleaning Schedule
- Include a proposed cleaning schedule aligned with LHDA standards.
- Indicate the chemicals used for cleaning.
- Vehicle Registration and Permits
- Provide documents and permits for all vehicles used for waste disposal.
- Transportation Methodology
- Outline the methods and systems used to ensure safe, spill-free waste transport.
- Health & Safety
- Submit a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan.
- Include accident and spill management plans.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Include three reference letters of similar work undertaken in the past three years.
