Assignment Title: Mini-Laboratory at Health Centres

The Ministry of health through the support of the Global Fund intends to establish two mini-laboratories as part of decentralisation of health services and laboratory optimisation initiative. The two envisaged mini-laboratories will be at Lephoi and Manamaneng health centres; these are two very remote health centres found in Thaba-Tseka district. The Ministry of Health plans to procure prefabricated containers to be used as the laboratories. The works requires the expertise of an Architect and a Quantity Surveyor.
Before the prefabricated containers can be mounted, there is a need to engage an architect who will provide technical guidance to the project as well as qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) to prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for the project. The Ministry of Finance Project Management Unit on behalf of Ministry of Health therefore invites eligible Local Individual Consultants – an Architect and a Quantity Surveyor to indicate their interest in providing their services. Interested Consultants should write an Expression of Interest (EOI) letter to commit to the duration period / man time provided below. In the EOI letter, Consultants must detail relevant past assignments similar to this activity, indicate the name of employer/client, the activities undertaken, the location of the assignments, the duration of the assignments. Consultants should attach their Curriculum Vitae (CV) to demonstrate qualifications, overall experience and functional capabilities as well as academic qualifications. The shortlisting criteria shall be: Relevance of EOI letter, CV and academic qualifications.

Submission of Expression of Interest
Expression of Interest may be hand delivered at the Reception area of Ministry of Finance Project Management Unit at 4th Floor, MGC Office Park, Corner Pope John Paul II and Mpilo Boulevard, not later than 16h30 noon on the 29th April 2021. Expression of Interest may also be submitted electronically to: [email protected]
Consultants must ensure that the letter of Expression of Interest is clearly marked “REOI No.: MOFPMU/PC/WKSMLAB/2021. Provision of Consultancy Services (Insert position being applied for (i.e. Architect or Quantity Surveyor))”. It is the responsibility of consultant to ensure that their Expression of Interest are submitted to the correct address before the deadline
