PROJECT NAME: Provision of Catering Services for Canteen Roads Directorate
1.1 The Roads Directorate intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund eligible Payments under the contract for RD/001/2023 – Provision of Catering Services at Canteen Roads Directorate towards the realization of the above cited project.
1.2 Roads Directorate invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Provision of Catering Services at Roads Directorate Canteen.
1.3 Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bid documents at the following address and office during normal working hours (08:00AM and 16:30PM);

1.4 A complete set of Bid Documents may be obtained at Procurement Office
Quotations should clearly show the breakdown of the cost for the following:
• Lunch meals
• Soft drinks
• Workshop meals (including Main course, desserts and soft drinks)
• Lunch packs (Including soft drinks and bottled water)
• English Breakfast
1.5 Assessment and evaluation will be based on, but not limited to the following criteria: Authority of Signatory must be attached, the financial statements for Three Years (3yrs) must be attached.
1.6 A registered catering company with a valid trading license (certified at source)
1.7 Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (certified at source)
1.8 Proven track record and experience of catering services.

1.11 The Tender Document is available at Roads Directorate Head Quarters.
1.12 There will be a Compulsory Pre-tender Meeting to be held at Roads Directorate, Meeting Room on Tuesday, 7th March, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
1.13 Bidding Documents must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Two Thousand Maloti (M2000) in the form of a Banker’s Letter addressed to “Roads Directorate” which must be attached
1.14 A complete set of Bid Documents may be obtained by interested Bidders upon payment of non-refundable fees of Five Hundred Maloti Only (M500.00). The method of payment will be by transfer or deposit into the following Bank Account: Roads Directorate Operating Revenue Account, Account No.: 021000067633, Swift Code: NEDLLSMX, Branch Code: 390161, Nedbank, Lesotho and proof therefore be presented to the
Roads Directorate. Facility shall be made available for purchasing of the tender documents by POS/ swiping at the Finance Division (Room G03), Roads Directorate Headquarters
1.15 Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Lesotho Maloti and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the Bid.
1.16 Completed Bid documents are to be enclosed in 1 (one) Original 2(Two copies) plain sealed envelopes bearing no identification of the Bidder and marked as follows; Invitation for Provision of Catering Services at Roads Directorate Canteen, must be deposited in the Bid Box at Roads Directorate, Ground Floor, Room G11, Near the Procurement Section, Corner Senate and Lepoqo Roads, Industrial Area and addressed to Roads Directorate at the above address, to be received on or before 12:00 Noon, Thursday, 23rd March, 2023
Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened the same day at 14:30hrs by the Roads
Directorate’s Bid Panel, in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
