Protection Officer II (Five‑Year Fixed Term Contract)

The Protection Officer II’s main responsibility is to uphold the Central Bank of Lesotho’s security by protecting life and property as the Bank’s first line of defense.
Areas of Responsibility
• Enforcing the Bank’s security policies, operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions
• Operating security systems, including CCTV, access control, and other related systems
• Ensuring robust access control and preventing unauthorized weapons from entering the Bank
• Executing physical and electronic inspections at search points and maintaining security coverage during counting room operations
• Conducting patrols as directed and providing reports
• Maintaining a log of all events, occurrences, and incidents
• Guiding and escorting visitors within the premises

Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma in one of the following fields: Security Management, Risk Management, Information Technology, Occupational Health and Safety
Experience
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience in a security organisation
