The proposed renovations of Leribe Testing Center

  1. The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has allocated funds for the financial year 2023/2024 for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. The Ministry intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments for the renovations of Leribe Testing Center
  • The Ministry of Public Works and Transport now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders.
  • Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB).
  • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Old Traffic Building Department next to St Catherines High School.
  • The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders. The method of payment Cash at Accounts Office, Ministry of Works, and Transport (Department of Transport, Old Traffic Building Department, next to St Catherines High School)
  • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday 27th September2023 10:30am Electronic Bidding will not be permit ed. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 14:00hrs.Ministry of Public Works and Transport (Transport Department) Wednesday 27th September 2023. All bids should be labeled as per the contract title stated above. One Original and three Copies.
  • All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LsL90,000.00 per ea. Bank Guarantee, Construction Traders Licenses and Tax Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Site inspection attendance signed by employing authorities. Singed and stamped Bid form and Power of Attorney.
  • Mandatory site visit shall be held on. 23rd August 2023
  • The Ministry of Public Works and Transport also reserves the right to cancel the tenders before the submission or opening of tenders, postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept or reject any or all tenders. The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
