Project Officer (X2 positions)

Description: Coordinate and facilitate the provision of technical support and assistance of the FCI Project in the two priority areas; namely a) reaching men and children in the HIV Prevention and Treatment cascade and b) Strengthening Justice for Children through preventing sexual violence for boys and girls as well as linkage through the Justice Sector. He or she will directly facilitate and coordinate the technical assistance provided by consultants and short-term technical assistants and sub-awardees.
Requirements: Degree or Relevant qualification with 3 years’ experience as Project Officer or Associate Project Officer in USAID/PEPFAR funded programs; Knowledge of HIV, health and development programs in developing countries in general and Sub-Saharan Africa specifically; particularly in Lesotho; Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections; Experience managing, supervising and building the capacity of Project Officers and at sub-awardees partner level; Ability to represent FHI 360 to donors, government officials and the NGO community.
