Project Manager at Caritas Lesotho


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Project Manager at Caritas Lesotho to facilitate the implementation a six months project on Capacity building on Natural Resources Management. The key responsibilities of the candidate AND requisite credentials are as shown in the Table below.

Monitors progress in the implementation of project activities in line with the defined scope and recommend changes where necessaryTracks efficiency in the implementation of project activities and inform relevant stakeholders of the changes in the DIP,  reasons and implications thereofTracks the project budget to ensure that the project activities are implemented within budget and recommend modifications where necessary.Provides an overall assessment of quality in the implementation of the projectMentors and couches project staffFlags any staff welfare issues for the attention of Human Resources desk Degree in Environmental Sciences or Natural Resources ManagementExcellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational ability.Ability to work both as a leader and a motivating member of a team.Strong team building and human relations skills.Advanced computer skills.Possession of a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage Experience working as a project manager will be an added advantage.Results orientated and able to pay attention to detailAbility to work under minimum supervision, under extreme pressure and tight time-frames
