POSITION: Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE

The purpose of the position is to manage mining team and provide strategic leadership to the team to meet the project’s objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in mining or related field
  • Blasting certificate
  • Loading and Hauling experience
  • 10 years at Management level
  • Proven track record in managing mining project.
  • Technical report writing expertise.
  • General knowledge of financial management and budgeting.

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Mine planning and scheduling.
  • Understanding of key compliance issues in accordance with corporate governance principles.
  • Coaching, leadership, and managerial skills.
  • Quality orientation.
  • Problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Audit reporting.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Plant and equipment management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must work with highest HSE discipline and standards
