Centre for Positive Care (CPC) is a Non-Profit Organization working in three provinces namely Limpopo, Gauteng and North West. CPC vision is to contribute to the improvement of quality of life of vulnerable communities in South Africa. To achieve the vision, CPC empowers vulnerable communities in South Africa to prevent infectious diseases such as TB, HIV&AIDS and STIs, promote Human Rights Protection for Children, Youth and families as well as promoting positive Living and Economic strengthening.

CPC work promotes and supports the National Strategic Plan of South Africa in reducing HIV, STI and TB  as well as ensuring greater participation and involvement of the targeted beneficiaries in community systems strengthening and reproductive health and rights services

CPC seeks to employ a Project Manager who will be based in Polokwane, Limpopo Province and the person will be managing two districts namely: Capricorn and Mopani.

Report to: The Director.

The programme Community Response Project (CR) working with Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) aims to reduce the incidence of HIV and SGBV as well as building resilience within  communities. The project is one of the DREAMS Project funded by USAID/PEPFAR.
The objectives of the programme are:
Strengthen the capacity and resilience of communities to prevent HIV and SGBV.
Develop Communication products and increase demand for HIV services (throughout the cascade) and SGBV services. Localised Communication.
Strengthen bi-directional Referral and Linkage into HIV Prevention, Care & Treatment and SGBV services.
Minimum Requirements :
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Community/ Youth Development, Health Administration, Management Social Work, or Business Administration with a focus on public health, social sciences, or other related field
A proven experience in managing high level projects in women’s rights.( DREAMS programme will be an added advantage),
Proven experience on Social Behaviour Change and Communication interventions
Experience implementing HIV/ AIDS and Health programmes at community level
Has a valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel periodically to project sites for business engagements.
Role and responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful management and implementation of the AGYW Community Response Project in Capricorn and Mopani Districts.
The Project Manager will be responsible to manage all aspects of the project including technical and operational.
The Project Manager will ensure effective coordination and liaison with key stakeholders including but not limited to: Government Departments (DoH, DoE, DSD), Donor, DREAMS Partners, NPOs, FBOs, District and Sub-District, Ward Councillor etc.
The Project Manager will ensure balancing of programme and cost effectiveness through appropriate use and controlling of human and financial resources.
To lead, motivate and support the programme team, ensure the effective flow of communication and information and deal with all challenges arising in the implementation of the programme appropriately
Attending to programme meetings and  updating on  project progress and impact  to  CPC, CCI and other stakeholders.
Manage programme budget and resource allocation.
Ensures that data  is accurate and is of high quality for reporting
Liaise and work with Project staff, Director and Stakeholders to promote successful and smooth running of the project.
Monitor, Evaluate and Analyse daily/weekly, monthly and quarterly reports from project team
Prepare and consolidate  daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for submission to the donor and CPC.

Demonstrated good communication (verbal and written) and excellent report-writing skills.
Demonstrate Project Management, leadership, mentoring and facilitation skills
Self-starter with the ability to lead, innovate and provide quality implementation.
Good organizational planning, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and conflict resolution skills.
Directing and controlling skills
