Career Opportunity: Project Management Coordinator

The Central Bank of Lesotho invites applications for the position of Project Management Coordinator.
The role is responsible for ensuring that the Bank’s projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the required quality standards.
Areas of Responsibility
- Manage assigned projects in collaboration with teams from business units
- Prepare project documentation in collaboration with business units, including:
- Project Charter
- Project Implementation Document (PID)
- Project Risk Register
- Stakeholder Register
- Supervise consultants engaged on assigned projects to ensure quality deliverables and contract compliance
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports on assigned projects
- Review, evaluate, and provide advice to the Projects Portfolio Oversight Committee on the prioritisation of proposed projects
- Review existing project management frameworks and recommend improvements to strengthen Project Management Office (PMO) capabilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders
- Ensure that projects and programmes align with the Bank’s strategic objectives
- Track and report on the delivery of project benefits
- Perform other project-related responsibilities as assigned by management in support of the Bank’s strategic objectives

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Project Management
- A degree in Economics, Accounting, or Project Management
Added Advantage
- PRINCE2 certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in project management
