The Lesotho Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS (LENEPWHA) is an umbrella body of Community based organisations of People living with HIV in Lesotho. LENEPWHA’s focus areas are HIV prevention, advocacy and impact mitigation targeting People living with HIV (PLHIV) both as beneficiaries and service providers to peers in need of HIV related services. LENEPWHA is currently sub-granted by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF); BAYLOR Lesotho and EGPAF through funding from PEPFAR (USAID and CDC).
LENEPWHA seeks suitable candidates to fill the position of:
POSITION: PROJECT LINKAGE COORDINATOR
PROJECT SITES: MASERU, MAFETENG, MOHALE’S HOEK & THABA TSEKA
PROJECT: PUSH
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
- Relevant experience in HIV/AIDS, TB, and MCH/PMTCT related work.
- At least 4 years work experience in project retention and HTS coordinating
- Good report writing, training and computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring HTS and retention programs and activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the treatment transition for all patients on treatment services.
- Work closely with Hospital/Facility Staff to develop appropriate referral and linkages for TB and HIV service in ART and TB corners.
- Support LC in provision of health education talks and counselling for EMTCT, TB and HIV/AIDS to clients in the health facility.
- Support the Community ART Group (CAG) model roll out in the district by ensuring training and supervision of the established groups and provision of the feedback to the facilities.
- Provide technical assistance to VHWs, CAGs and community support groups through trainings, feedback meetings and timely reporting of monthly activities.
