PROJECT CORDINATOR – ANIMAL GIFT CATALOGUE
Location; National Office
Reporting to; Senior Programmes Officer

Purpose of Position
To serve as the project lead for the WVUS funded PNS, Animal Gift Catalogue Project. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating all field activities, in coordination with the Grants office and the Area Program Coordinator.

Major Responsibilities
Project implementation management 40%
 The project coordinator will lead coordination of all project activities at Kota, Mapoteng and Sekameng Aps. This primarily entails coordinating the project officers working on livelihoods activities (S4T, FMNR, Financial literacy).
 Coordinate directly with local stakeholders to ensure implementation.
 The position will provide direct coordination to 3 POs, DME officer and Accountant.

Maintain working relationships with stakeholders 10%
 Play key role in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the district and national stakeholders (i.e GOL Ministry of small business, marketing and Cooperatives, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security).
 Liaise with national, District and cluster officials, & other stakeholders in coordinating livelihood activities.
Support monitoring and evaluation to ensure targets are met 20%
 Lead and guide DME officer in monitoring and evaluation and ensuring quality assurance of activities.
 Support DME officer data collection activities such as baseline, routine monitoring, endline assessment.

Manage reports and ensure donor deliverables are met 20%
 Ensure timely preparation of work plans, budget requests and technical project performance reports and participate in the weekly and monthly project performance review meetings.
 Submit timely project reports from district level to project manager.

Knowledge management 10%
 Apply basic programme management approaches (develop workplans, monitor, execute and report on work plans)
 Facilitate learning from monitoring and evaluation processes
 Facilitate proper management of knowledge through WV and donor system.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience
 Must have a degree in development studies, Agriculture sciences, or economics, with at least 6+ years related experience with an INGO
 Must have two plus years in a management position for community development or agriculture projects.
 Must have experience with multilateral donor reporting requirements preferred
 Must have good Interpersonal skills

Working environment/ Conditions:
 The position is office based with frequent travel to the field
 Domestic travel 75% of the time

REMUNERATION: Competitive with market standards
