The role:

We’re building a suite of products to help companies operate in this new world, taking away the bureaucracy, cost, and complexity of working globally. Our core product is growing fast and we’re now gearing up to launch additional products to serve a wider range of customer problems.

As a member of the Payroll Projects team, you’ll support the building of the payroll product as we grow, delivering both an employee and customer experience second-to-none, driving service delivery excellence while leveraging lean processes and technology in ensuring continued delivery of world class outcomes. You will independently drive projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with other stakeholders and other departments and clearly reporting progress to management.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Facilitate planning and projects delivery by working closely with various teams and updating the management on project status.
  • Multi-Phase Involvement: Contribute to all stages of various projects within the Payroll and Operations team, from scoping and planning to implementation and governance.
  • Detailed Planning: Prepare comprehensive project plans, schedule milestones, and coordinate work streams & activities.
  • Data Handling: Manage the collection, preparation, and possible auditing of project-related data and documents.
  • Coordination: Ensure clear communication of deliverables with internal teams and monitor projects by providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Business Alignment: Participate in roadmap meetings to devise future state processes, translate business requirements into functional specifications, and engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Some Additional Duties: Development of SOPs, system implementation support, Payroll and team improvement projects, training & knowledge library development.S

About you:

  • Ideally you will have 3+ years of project management or business analysis experience preferably in the employment arena (HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS)
  • Familiarity with any of the following areas: Payroll processes,HR, Payroll implementation, Automation, Change Management and SOPs.
  • Or you could have a background in data, software implementation projects, HR products, change management or business improvement
  • Advanced MS Excel is required; familiarity with Tableau or data analytics is a plus.
  • Experience in building Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
