REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
The Ministry of Natural Resources is implementing the Lesotho Lowlands Water Supply and Sanitation (LLRWSSP) through the African Development Bank (AfDB) fund, the Global Environment Facility-Least Developed Countries Fund (GEF-LCDF) and the Counterpart fund from the Government of Lesotho (GOL). The Ministry of Natural Resources intends to apply part of these funds for the payments under the contract for the position of the PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR.
The objective of this position is to assist the Executing Agency by providing the administrative support in the project implementation and day-to-day liaison with other project staff. The Ministry of Natural Resources now invites eligible individuals to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested candidates, by submitting their applications for this position must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service.
Minimum requirements for the eligible individuals include:
University Degree in Public or Business Administration/Bachelor of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship with at least three (3) years’ experience.
OR
Diploma in Secretarial study with five (5) years of secretarial and general administration experience.
The candidate must have computer literacy and competence on Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word and Excel, notes, in the use of Internet etc. Fluency in written and spoken English language and must have excellent analytic skills including ability to prepare reports. Familiarity with World Bank or African Development Bank (AfDB) will be regarded as an added advantage.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants, 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org
