Position Summary
SM&D is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Project Accountant to support the financial management of multiple donor-funded projects.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and maintain audit-ready records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records and cashbooks
- Perform reconciliations
- Process payments and manage petty cash
- Ensure multi-donor cost allocation compliance
- Apply modified cash basis reporting
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience working with donor-funded projects
- Knowledge of multi-donor cost allocation and modified cash basis
Added Advantage
- ACCA qualification
- External audit experience
