Job Summary
Under the general supervision of Head of Programmes, the Programmes Producer is responsible for production of programmes He/she assigns Programme Producers to gather materials for and to cover live events.
Main Duties
- Produces Radio programmes for transmission
- Gives assignments of coverage and events to producers
- Checks and takes action as necessitated by the daily events in the log book.
- Allocates air time to feeder Ministries.
- Trains new recruits, conducts and coordinates refresher courses.
Job Specification
Degree in Journalism/ Mass communications with 5 years’ experience in the field of Media.
