Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual on fixed term contract to fill the following position in Pretoria:
CTC: R541 733.35 per annum
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: PROGRAMME MONITORING AND EVALUATION

The successful candidate will be seconded to the National Department of Health for the duration of the contract. The purpose of this role is to assist the Community Outreach Services Unit to collate, analyse and interpret Community Health Workers Programme data from various national health information systems such as Tier.Net, WebDHIS2 and other health information systems to ensure that informed decisions are made based on integrated data and to track that grant funds are spent optimally.

Qualification, Skills & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree or national diploma in computer science, Health Informatics, Information Management or Statistics, data management, information systems, information science or a related field is required.
At least 3 year’s work experience in public health (especially HIV/AIDS and TB) data management disciplines including data integration, analysis and data quality or any other areas directly relevant to data management.
Extensive experience on the health information systems such as Tier.Net, WebDHIS2.
Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations of public health data.
Ability to communicate data in a simple, actionable way.
Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds
Valid driver’s license needed and must be willing to be flexible working hours and willing to travel.
Job Description:
Extracting and integrating CHW data from various national health information systems such as Tier.Net, WebDHIS2 and other health systems to drive grant optimization and improvement.
Analysing data to unearth trends and patterns.
Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports.
Build and share data visualizations.
Correlating similar data to find actionable results.
Implement web-based CHW and Outreach Team Leaders Registration databases and generate reports as required.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data system.
Filter and clean data by and share feedback with respective provinces for correction.
Work with management to prioritize information needs and to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive developmental solutions.
Develop processes and tools to monitor for programme monitoring and reporting. 11.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with the relevant stakeholders in order to ensure timely responses to queries and requirements.
Provide technical support during meetings with different stakeholders including the sub-recipients (SRs) and the lead implementers; documenting minutes and distributing these to relevant stakeholders.
Provide technical support and coordinate the compilation of submissions to the GF and LFA
Support compilation and technical write ups for submission of Progress Update and disbursement requests (PUDR)
Provide technical support during development of Grant proposals for Global Fund grants including Grant Making and Local Funding Agent (LFA) review processes
Compile supply chain monthly and quarterly reports including a detailed national stock status report
It should be noted that the above position is a fixed term appointment that would culminate at the end of March 2022
