The Programme Manager: District Services will be required to manage and integrate Programmes across the end-to-end Project lifecycle with regards to design, development, implementation and close-out of Projects in line with quality, cost and Stakeholder requirements. This will include:
Programme Planning and Scoping
Accountable Programme Delivery (time, cost, quality and resources)
Programme Monitoring and Reporting
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Programme People Leadership
Technical Responsibilities
Build and retain Stakeholder relationships at Programme level
Ensure formal Programme sign-off and close-out once deliverable have been met and Stakeholder requirements satisfied
Ensure an in-depth understanding of the business case, Project requirements and impact to realise within the Sector
Work with cross-functional Business Representatives and Outcome Stakeholder (Funders/Health Care Practitioners) to define the deliverable, inter-dependencies, critical milestones, and success factors for Programmes
Scope Programmes, considering the full Project life-cycle (Project initiation, design, development, execution, transition, and close-out), within set time-frames, quality and cost parameters
Confirm Programme resource requirements and successfully capacity the programme
Develop Programme Workplans and Reporting Cycles to manage successful delivery of milestones and objectives
Ensure that the appropriate structures, governance practices, processes and systems are in place to enable effective integration of new business/disposal of business, take-on/termination of Client services/solutions with existing services/solutions as well as current operational systems, processes and frameworks
Balance, manage and control Programme Resources across the project life-cycle in line with the project scope, time-frame, quality and budget constraints
Consolidate Qualitative and Quantitative Data and Information across the Programme
Analyse and interpret Programme Data and Information to proactively monitor Programme progress and delivery to key milestones, cost and quality requirements
Conduct ongoing Programme reporting and review
Ensure that Programme Resources have clear and understood work/role descriptions, targets and goals to perform their functions, and that Client needs and requirements are integrated into all work related practices.
Ensure that Programme Resources have the right resources, skills, tools, equipment, and information to successfully execute on their responsibilities.
Effectively manage Programme Team performance and create opportunities for them to gain the competence for the work required and to grow.
Proactively align future talent needs through effective succession planning and capacity building initiatives (i.e. development programmes, training, mentorship, coaching etc), and advise Employees on career opportunities and the requirements to achieve personal growth
