WHO LESOTHO
The World Health Organization (WHO) Lesotho is seeking a qualified and dedicated Programme Assistant (G5) to provide programme, administrative, financial, and operational support that enables the effective delivery of health programmes across Lesotho.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀:
- Provide programme, administrative, financial, and operational support for WHO projects and activities.
- Support budget monitoring, financial transactions, records management, and reporting.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, meetings, and administrative services.
- Support workforce-related activities, procurement processes, and efficient office operations.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and programme documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and support effective implementation of WHO activities.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Diploma/Associate Degree with administrative or finance certification/training.
- A university degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field will be an advantage.
- At least five (5) years of relevant administrative or secretarial experience.
- Strong knowledge of administrative and financial procedures.
- Experience in report writing, correspondence drafting, and basic accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/Workday, and web-based management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Sesotho will be an added advantage.
