Purpose

Sourcing new business, marketing products, quoting on new business submissions within underwriting authority, writing new business, attaining / exceeding new business production targets, managing intermediary relationships, ongoing servicing of intermediaries and ad-hoc coordination of team projects.

New and Existing Business

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key brokers and deliver on the SLA’s
  • Introduce new brokers to AIG.
  • Drive growth and improve retention rates through targeted brokers.
  • Ensure that that the correct compliance procedures are followed during the onboarding of a new broker.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing new business opportunities with potential partners.
  • Assist in identifying and driving business opportunities via cross sells and direct business opportunities. Along with looking for potential opportunities for GPA and BTA business to assist the A&H Product Tower
  • Attend the Weekly WALL meeting and work with Sales and client to maximise our exposure and the intelligence gathered at the wall meeting.

Production Management

  • Exercise underwriting authority to quote on new business submissions.
  • Ensure all new business quotes are turned around within the agreed time frames once all information is received.
  • Achieve new business targets.
  • Manage the pipeline process and open accounts feedback lists.
  • Assist in preparing and disseminating new business and distribution reports as required.

Customer Service

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on all pertinent issues
  • Resolve distribution channel issues and concerns and regularly review expectations to ensure relationship is mutually acceptable and beneficial
  • Provide ongoing product training to brokers and their staff.
  • Provide ongoing product training to branches and BMC’s (where necessary).

Audit and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to audit requirements
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
