Production Technician — Remote (Weekend shift)

**Work schedule: Friday to Monday 2pm – 1am PST**Purpose

Production Technicians process electronic data and convert native files using industry specific processing applications such as Relativity and IPRO eCapture in accordance with company and industry standards as well as client specific requests. Production Technicians are responsible for processing and converting files to image formats such as TIF, JPG or PDF, and exporting documents and metadata for client review and production. They are responsible for ensuring the quality of the processed data and final output as well as for making sure that production resources are utilized effectively and that turnaround requests and deadlines are either met or exceeded.

  • Process documents and data in adherence to company standards and client specific technical specifications
  • Create and prepare load files and deliverables for review in Concordance, Summation and Relativity databases
  • Format data for importing into legal review software, using internal tools and SQL to manipulate and export data to conform to client request
  • Maintain a sense of urgency on all production deliverables and internal requests
  • Independently work on job requests from a queue as well as by assignment to ensure that jobs progress with minimal delay
  • Effectively communicate job status and potential issues with Shift Supervisor/Manager and provide detailed hand off instructions during shift/job turnover
  • Perform thorough quality checks on client data and work product at multiple stages of processing to eliminate rework and ensure 100% compliance of data and deliverable to client specification
  • Make recommendations for improved workflow, quality, internal documentation and processes to maximize system resources and efficiencies as applicable
  • Manage projects created and implemented within the Production group
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the team by assisting with training junior team members on department processes and applications and providing guidance with troubleshooting and resolving issue with deliverables
  • Document departmental procedures

  • Able to work from Friday to Monday, between 2pm to 1am PST

  • Open to working assigned shift within departmental hours of operation (current hours are 7:30 am – 12:00 am, seven days a week)
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Relativity, iPro eCapture and other litigation support applications such as Nuix, LAW and Summation, etc. a plus
  • 1+ years’ experience processing data in an Electronic Discovery environment preferred
  • Ability to independently use SQL to write queries for extracting and manipulating raw data preferred
  • Knowledge of scripting or other coding languages such as PowerShell, C#, or JAVA is a plus
