Applications are invited from suitably qualified internal candidates, who meet the following job specifications. Please note that only candidates who meet the inherent requirementsof the position will be considered.
Purpose:
To run production cells in line with planned output and customer quality standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Updating of Boards every hour and ensure daily target is met, that quality standards are adhered to
- Responsible for reworks; if there are reworks on the line, they need to be completed before end of shift
- Scrap to be recorded before end of hsift and give feedback to coordinator
- Production lines to be kept neat, tidy at all times together with trolley
- No imballanced trolley to be left over to the next shift hand over a balanced trolley
- Identify operators that require further training or training on a new operation
- Reporting absenteeism and liaising with coordinator to rotate staff
- Production planning & scheduling will be an added advantage
- Ensuring that the line adheres to HSEE requirement
Education/Experience:
- Minimum, Grade 12
- Minimum two years’ experience in Manufacturing
- Prior supervisory experience of any kind is an added advantage
