Job Description

As a Production Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance and execution of packaging controls within the Integrated Process Team (IPT). You will also be responsible for executing compliance related tasks such as Process Checks, Line Clearance, Line Opening and the review of Packaging Tickets. You will have the opportunity to participate in the investigation of and report writing related to any deviations and customer complaints within packaging as well as accompany the Internal Auditor on walk though audits/ site audits.

Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

  • BPharm degree / Registration with the S.A. Pharmacy Council
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • People Management skills.
  • Excellent writing / documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Excellent attention to detail required.


Experience required

  • 2 yrs operations experience.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Powerpoint
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Communication Skills, Written, Oral and Presentation;
  • Decision Making
  • Self driven, self motivated and pro-active.
  • Must be familiar with GMP systems and how they interlink.
