Job Title : Production Assistant – Packing
Reports To (Job Title) : Production Manager
Number of Direct Reports : Operators and Trimmers
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Production Manager/Deputy and Supervisors with production processes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Responsible for:
a. Adhering to all instruction given by production supervisors.
b. Wearing the appropriate PPE as stipulated in the SOPs.
c. Maintaining equipment in an adequate state.
d. Meeting deadline set by the production supervisors.
2. Ensures that:
a. A safe and clean environment is maintained at all times while abiding to cGMP guidelines.
b. Ensure all Logbooks, spreadsheets and other forms used have full traceability and data integrity.
c. Production targets are met while abiding to regulatory standards and specifications.
3. To communicate:
a. All safety concerns to the Production Supervisor.
b. All deviations with the Production Supervisor.
4.To complete ongoing training stipulated by the Production Manager/Deputy and/or Production Supervisors. Write and pass tests as may be required.
5. Perform any other reasonable duty as requested by Management from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Qualifications:
• Graduate Degree or relevant work experience.
Skills:
Attention to detail – maintain proper focus during the job at hand.
• Communication to communicate any concerns or deviation to their supervisor, production manager or deputy production manager.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to ask when instructions seem vague, or instructions are not understood.
• Accurate and precise recording of data.
• Result Orientated – to meet set deadlines.
• Teamwork – to work as a unit for the benefit of the department and the company.
Physical Demands
• At times this position is required to stand for several hours.
This position does require the individual to lift 10-15 kg.
• At time this position does require the individual to wear a coverall and full-face respirator.
