Product ManagerAre you interested in delivering a world-class software platform to the diabetes community? As Product Manager, you will oversee the strategy and requirements for Tidepool’s products.

In this role, you will interact with people with diabetes, their families and their clinicians to develop and validate product concepts. You will collaborate across design, engineering, user operations, program management, and marketing to identify, define, plan, and execute on improvements, new features, and new Tidepool products. You will define, measure, and monitor KPIs to track product performance.

To be successful in this role, you should be both hands-on and strategic. You should also be comfortable and productive working remotely.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define product and feature requirements, and thoroughly document them for Tidepool’s designers and engineers.
  • Establish product and feature priorities and ensure they’re clearly communicated to all team members.
  • Use Tidepool’s task management system, Jira, to define product requirements and Monday, to track development progress.
  • Specify each product’s target persona and ensure that the design matches the persona’s need.
  • Work with marketing to build distribution plan for each product.
  • Collaborate with Tidepool’s QA team to ensure user requirements and well understood and properly tested.
  • Measure and track user metrics and KPIs, and report back to the team about performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Understand the landscape of diabetes software, both commercial and DIY, and be able to articulate how Tidepool’s products are similar or differentiated.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Product management experience in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing a visionary product roadmap and executing delivery to market.
  • Highly organized with experience managing complex projects.
  • Mastery of taking a concept and validating demand through market research, user interviews, and more.
  • Deep knowledge of diabetes devices and apps is a bonus.

Most of the Tidepool team has a personal connection to diabetes. If you don’t, that’s cool, but you should have demonstrated empathy for other chronic conditions, and be prepared to learn about and have empathy for the diabetes experience.

This is a remote position – you’ll be working from home and interacting with a team that works around the world, currently in 13 states and 7 countries.
