𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿
The Road Fund Secretariat requires the services of a suitably qualified Lesotho National to fill the position of Procurement Officer.
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞:
The incumbent is responsible for evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or CIPS level 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of six (6) years experience working in the procurement environment and two (2) of which shall be on a supervisory level.
𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to organise, supervise, and direct the work of others;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of individuals at all levels;
• Ability to be assertive and decisive in decision making;
• Excellent negotiation skills;
• Risk Management skills;
• Computer skills with word-processing;
• E-mail and other specialized software applications utilized daily.
𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Salary will be in accordance with the Road Fund scales of remuneration, which are competitive and market related.
