Procurement Officer TSS (Lesotho)

Tsebo Site Services is looking for a highly skilled Procurement Officer to provide administrative support to the business unit regarding procurement processes, platforms and systems. Build functional relationships within Tsebo Procurement, Operations and Finance and to maintain external supplier relationship management with all catering suppliers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager and Catering Manager with upplier management
  • Manage all administrative support required on site
  • Vendor management
  • Build effective supplier relationship
  • To complete any other administrative duties not listed above that are required to assist the Commodity Manager to meet their goals and objectives
  • Manage the vendor onboarding process including supplier vetting, supplier agreement, supplier supporting documents, capturing and creating the supplier.
  • Effective supplier relationship management based on a sound understand of business requirements including supplier identification, Linking suppliers & mapping items when requested by the unit
  • Manage suppliers’ compliance to Product and Service Quality set by business during the vendor onboarding process.
  • Manage new item creation process including completing item creation form, ensuring accuracy of data captured, Item creation on D365.
  • Using the BISA report as a base contact and follow up on outstanding BBBEE certificates/affidavits.
  • To complete any other administrative duties not listed above that are required to assist the Commodity Manager to meet their goals and objectives.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong and ordered administrative capabilities
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Vendor management, Item master and BBBEE.
  • High ethical and business acumen .
  • Knowledge of P2P process, policies and controls.
  • Knowledge of Procurement practices.
  • 5 years procurement support experience within the Catering industry.
  • Vendor and Item master management experience will be an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent;
  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain advantageous
