Job title: Procurement Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Procurement, Business Management or any related field pls three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and Budgets for purchases
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other important data
- Review and analyse all vendor/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Coordinate stock control operations
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of-stock (OOS)
- Place and receive orders to replenish stock as needed
- Track deliveries and coordinate internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays
- Oversee stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing and labelling
- Perform regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget
