Subject: Procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Beneficiaries
1. Background
The Government of Lesotho has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of the Regeneration of Landscapes and Livelihoods (ROLL) project and intends to apply part of the financing for the purchase of PPE.
The use of IFAD financing is subject to IFAD’s approval and compliance with its rules, policies, and procedures. IFAD and its officials shall be held harmless from any claims or liabilities arising in connection with the ROLL project.
2. Project Overview
The ROLL project aims to ensure rural communities adopt transformational practices for regenerated landscapes and sustainable livelihoods. Expected outputs include:
- Reduction of environmental degradation
- Improved livelihoods for participating communities
The project duration is eight years and is implemented in six districts:
Butha-Buthe, Leribe, Berea, Thaba-Tseka, Qacha’s Nek, and Quthing.
3. Procurement Details
The purchaser invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:
Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Beneficiaries
