PROCUREMENT OF MOTORCYCLE RIDING GEAR
- The Government of Lesotho has received funding from Global Fund to support interventions in the fight against HIV and AIDS, Tuberculosis and Covid 19 under the New Funding Model 3 (NFM3). Part of the Proceeds shall be used to support Riders For Health by making payments for the Procurement of motorcycle riding gear which includes (Helmets, Jackets, Trousers, Gloves, Boots and Kidney Belts).
- Open National Competitive Tender method will apply.
- The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning-Project Management Unit now invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified Tenderers for the Procurement of motorcycle Riding gear. Details are as follows:

- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain a complete set of Tender Documents in English from the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning Project Management Unit (MOFDP-PMU) website: https://www. mofpmu.org.ls/tenders/.
- Request for Clarifications may be send in writting to the following email addresses [email protected] and [email protected] not later than 15th August 2023.
- It is mandatory for Tenderers to submit the following valid documents: (a) Trader’s License/Business Identity Card; (b) Tax Clearance Certificates, (c) VAT Registration Certificate (d) Certificate of Bona Fide Tendering, (d) Bid Security declaration, (e) Shareholders certificate and copies of the shareholders passports and (f) Audited Financial Statements for the past Two (2) years {(2020 and 2021) or (2021 and 2022) or (2022 and 2023 if available)}to substantiate the annual Turn Over. Non- compliance with any of these requirements may invalidate a Tender.
- Qualification requirements for award include amongst others: (a) business experience of not less than three years in similar jobs, (b) successful completion of similar contracts of not less than M700,000.00 in the past three years, and (c) Credit line of LSL 700,000.00 from a financial institution (strictly from the bank). The margin of preference shall be applied in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 78 of the Government of Lesotho Public Procurement Act, 2023 during the evaluation.
- Bidders’ conference will be held at the address in 11 below; on the 20th July 2023 at 10:00hrs. Interested bidders are expected to send their representatives.
- Tenders shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Tender opening.

- SUBMISSION OF BIDS: The sealed envelopes containing bids clearly labelled “Procurement of Motorcycle Riding Gear, Tender No.: MOFDP-PMU/NFM3/G/Y3-1”. Submissions MUST be deposited in the tender box situated at the reception area at the address below on or before 10:00hrs 22nd August 2023. Electronic Tendering will not be permitted. Late Tenders will be rejected.
Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 10:15hrs on the 22nd August 2023.
