Job Title: Procurement Intern
Responsible to: Procurement Manager
Purpose of post: As a member of the EGPAF Lesotho Operations Team, assume responsibility for purchasing, service contracts and contracted service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
1. PROCUREMENT
Ø Obtains competitive bids on high value procurements, quality discounts, and achieves cost savings in accordance with Federal procurement guidelines and exercise flexibility on procurement processes
Ø Attend to urgent procurement requests for lodging
Ø Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Ø Identifies best sources for procurement of goods and services.
2. FIELD SUPPORT AND LOGISTICS
Ø Ensures logistical support to the EGPAF Program as needed.
Ø Manages Vendor & service relationships.
3. OTHER DUTIES
Ø Process VAT exemption requests as when required
Ø Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Procurement & Logistics Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLWDGE:
Ø Degree in Supply Chain/Business Administration/BCom or relevant graduate qualification
Ø Computer skills, particularly MS Office package
