Job Purpose
Provide administrative assistance and back office support service to the Team Leader:
Home Loans Support to ensure that bond registrations recieve superior service.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Process efficiency
- Capture completed home loan applications
- Follow-up with client regarding outstanding documentation daily to ensure application completion. (i.e. only offer to purchase received).
- Ensure that ITC/Experian checks are performed once assessments are requested.
- Update the mobile home loans register and monitor progress of applications on a daily basis.
- Monitor rate concessions and ensure that correct rates appear on the system and letter of grant.
- Ensure that all service level agreements are complied and keep abreast of changes in this regard.
- Provide feedback with the relevant conditions of the approval in principal (AIP) to the mobile consultants, agent and client once obtained.
Legislative compliance
- Conduct a needs analysis to identify customer needs effectively when opening new accounts or giving product advice.
- Complete disclosure to the customers in terms of accreditation, service fees, and commission.
- Ensure proper record keeping in terms of Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act as well as the Financial Intelligence Centre Act requirements.
Service provided to Estate Agents
Maintain availability as the back-up contact person to all estate agents.
Maintain telephonic contact with the low touch agents to secure bonds.
Administration
Attend to all enquiries that may arise from the client, or the estate agent.
Control daily, weekly, monthly figures of home loans disbursement.
Maintain the bond register with bonds granted, not taken up (NTU) and declines.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent, plus3 years Banking experience with exposure to customer service and sales

Computer literate
Good numerical skills
