Introduction
Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letseng Diamonds is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Process Foreman
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for leading of a shift team in a specific treatment facility.
The main focus of this role is to drive the achievement of production objectives (being optimised diamond recovery effectiveness and production throughput), in a safe, secure and efficient manner, and in conjunction with the Mining, Final Recovery and Maintenance sections.
Desired Qualification, Experience, Skiils & Competencies
COSC plus proven track record in a diamond processing senior supervisory role
Proven track record in process operations, strong supervisory experience and leadership qualities. Minimum 5 years processing plant experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
Detailed knowledge of plant operations and production control, capacity to make decisions and supervise others, good knowledge of relevant metallurgical unit process and efficiency measures, good knowledge of mechanical and electrical plant operation and performance characteristics, strong technical problem solving skills, good planning, budgeting, coordination and prioritizing skills, emergency response and crisis management skills, good computer literacy and report-writing skills, good written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders
