Description

ROLE PURPOSE
Reporting to the EHOD: Brand and Marketing, the Principal Specialist: Marketing and Digital Media is responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring go-to-market (GTM) plans for Vodacom digital media, key campaigns, sponsorships, activations, and events for all Vodacom Business units, working in close partnership with the business units and service points to drive awareness, excitement, and usage that delivers on business targets and marketing objectives.


KEY DELIVERABLES
• Compile comprehensive GTM plans for new and existing products to support business objectives and drive up revenue
• Drive digital media marketing strategy to facilitate proposition and product awareness through digital and other media campaigns
• Proactively manage online presence and visibility on social media platforms, driving target visits/subscribers/followers and Design, maintain & supply content for digital and other media
• Develop briefs for relevant outsourced companies and suppliers on campaign, events, and promotions requirements
• Maintain workflow process – ensure accurate record keeping and tracking of all promotions and events
• Compile monthly Marketing Review Reports to support departmental reporting to the Manager Marketing and Brand

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
•At least 4-5 years’ experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications for services, with experience of telecoms and financial services industries being a distinct advantage

A Degree or advanced technical qualification (B.Tech) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related
