The University is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following Non-Academic position for Maseru Campus;
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
The Principal Officer supports the Bursar in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves managing daily financial activities, including financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The Principal Officer also collaborates with other departments to optimize financial processes and provides leadership to Finance Officers.
Non-Academic position, Qualifications & Experience:

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Chartered Accountant qualification will be an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related role, preferably in an academic setting.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Internal Controls and Compliance
• Financial Reporting
• Customer Service
• Collaboration and Communication
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐣𝐨𝐛:
• Strong knowledge of financial management practices and software.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, and financial tools.
• Experience in Microsoft Business Central system is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
