About the Position
Providere Academy, incorporating Annabelle Pre-School, is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal to lead the school for the 2027 academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a new school, establishing effective systems, overseeing academic programmes, and maintaining high educational standards. The role requires strong leadership, sound administrative skills, and the ability to support staff and promote learner achievement.
Minimum Requirements
- A recognised degree in Education or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- A recognised teaching qualification and valid registration with the Teaching Service Department (TSD).
- At least eight years of teaching experience, with proven school leadership or management experience.
- Knowledge of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum or experience in an international curriculum environment.
- Strong leadership, administration, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in curriculum development, staff supervision, learner assessment, and school improvement planning.
- Knowledge of school policies, safeguarding, discipline, and child protection.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to lead a new school, establish effective systems, and maintain high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the school and establish effective operational and administrative systems.
- Oversee curriculum development and learner assessment.
- Supervise, support, and guide teaching and other staff.
- Develop and implement school improvement plans.
- Maintain high academic standards and promote learner achievement.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and uphold safeguarding, discipline, and child protection standards.
